The POCO F4 GT originally debuted in April, and it was on a global scale. The F4 GT is just a repackaged Redmi K50 Gaming edition with a triple camera configuration that includes a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The standard POCO F4 was recently spotted in the UAE on the TRDA certification portal, indicating that an international launch is on the way.
The device’s model number has been revealed as 22021211RG, and it has also been verified that it will have a POCO F4 moniker, according to the TRDA listing. The TRDA website isn’t the only location where the gadget has been viewed in public; it’s also been shown on the NBTC certification site and Geekbench. We’ve also learned a few things regarding the specifications thanks to these appearances.
Before we go into the list of specs, bear in mind that these are just rumours at this point, and nothing has been officially confirmed. The POCO F4 has reportedly been rebranded as the Redmi K40S, according to sources. The phone will have a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It will also be compatible with Dolby Vision.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC will power the POCO F4, which will be paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
In terms of optics, the phone will have a 48-megapixel camera, as well as an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The front camera will include a 20-megapixel lens, which will be great for selfie enthusiasts.
The POCO F4 is expected to be added to Xiaomi’s rate list in the near future. The phone will run MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12. With 67W rapid charging, the battery capacity will most likely be 4,5000mAh.
Another intriguing piece of POCO F4 news is the discovery of its Indian equivalent on the IMEI database, with the model number 220212111RI. The rest of the specifications, on the other hand, may deviate from the typical global model.
