ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (92 News) – According to State Minister for Environment Zartaj Gul, the government has planted one billion seedlings, with another nine billion to go.
He said they were confronting the prospect of environmental changes while speaking at an event commemorating International Environment Day on Saturday. “The prime minister considers future generations.”
She stated that projects to boost the level of subsurface water had been launched by the government. “We’re working on programmes to address the threat of food insecurity,” she said.
According to Zartaj Gul, by 2030, 30% of automobiles will be powered by electricity. “Under the Billion Tree Tsunami, the government has supplied 85,000 jobs to the people,” she claimed.
